Was big- clean- good cooking facilities- friendly staff who were helpful when I sent messages

Just. Small things - beds and sofa could have been more comfortable- and need more mirrors!! The location was good so close to the NEC - but i wouldn’t recommend drinking or eating out in town- felt a bit rough- but close to Birmingham city centre and NEC so no issues for us

I cannot comment on this property as it became unavailable due to a maintenance issue on the day we were to attend. However we were provided with another property close by, near the Gravely Road train station. The substitute property had similar facilities as booked, 2 bedrooms, two showers, one toliet, kitchen and washing machine. The host was very responsive and attempted to rectify a number of situations as they arose. The host bought 3 electric heaters when the heating in the house failed. Its a fairly convenient location, 10 minute walk from the station, a few shops around. 15 minutes by train to CBD. Comfortable beds and large house.

A number of maintenance issues during our stay. A broken broiler resulted in our accommodation being changed by the provider. A few days into the booking the broiler in the new house stopped working, resulting in no heating (very cold house). Luckily one of the showers was electric hot water, but the kitchen sink required hot water from the broiler, so we ended up using the kettle to was dishes. The bathroom sink also only had freezing water. The light in the living room fell out of its fitting. The back yard was full of rubbish - the host said was from thw neighbour dumping rubbish, so we did not go into the yard as it was unsafe. Whilst the host responded quickly and tried to find solutions for the problems, the sheer number of difficulties was frustrating.

Everything was on point for my stay. Clean, spacious and comfortable house in a quiet neighbourhood. It has a fast internet with a smart TV. Beds were very comfy, and having toilets on both the ground floor and the first floor was very handy, so you don't have to go up and down. It has big dining table for up to 4+ and can be used for study if needed, which also has a standby Lamp. The bedside lamp was also very good, it has a USB charging port for a mobile phone as long as you bring your USB cable.
