"Give it a miss."

Nothing.

No towels, no shower gel or soap,no pillow cases,broken toilet seat and for someone with mobility issues the first floor room was a major problem with a winding staircase Exchanged several Emails with smart flats, promised action but nothing happened.For the amount of money charged, I can only say RIP OFF.Your comments will be enlightening.???

Good location with easy access to the city centre and area around the river

The apartment was not fully equipped in the kitchen. We had to buy our own soap and toilet paper. The fire alarms kept sounding day and night and despite several messages and telephone calls this took 3 days to fix. The entrance hall was in poor condition and during our stay had dirty linen stacked on a trolley. The temperature in the apartment was very warm no aircon or fans. We had to leave windows open which meant we had a lot of street noise during the night.

"DON'T BOOK THIS PROPERTY. WORST STAY EVER."

I never leave reviews but this is really the worst property I have ever been. The room was under construction and did not meet minimum sanitary and safety standards (a.o. open plumbing/sewage, floor, smoke detector dismantled). Contacted the smartflat office but they were very reluctant to find a solution and only did so after I contacted the booking.com customer support (who don't take any responsibility even though they offer this property through their platform). Both smartflats and booking agreed that the room was unsafe to stay and I could not stay in the same room for the second night. They did offer me to relocate to another room for the second night. However, it took them more than 12h to come up with that solution, and meanhwile I lost trust in this company completely (I am not on the only one, just google some reviews....). I just wanted relocation to a room owned by another provider or a refund. But up to now, both booking.com and smartflats were reluctant to commit a refund because they 'offered an alternative' (even if it was only for 1/2 nights). The key-less access and self check-in is convenient but you cannot lock the room from inside. Just google some reviews, this is not safe.

"Stay somewhere else, run away"

The location is fantastic in front of the river, it can get a bit noisy at night as it is the ground floor.

The apartment was absolutely dirty when we checked in. Feels to us they forgot to clean after the previous guests left. It was also a lot of us in the room if you consider the fruit flies and flies as the trash bags where collected at the back of the house. However we only had beds for 2 although we were supposed to be 3 so one of us had to sleep on the couch. We couldn't even have coffee to shake off the bad sleep as the coffee machine was tornt into pieces on the kitchen. We contacted the property numerous times. As there were no other affordable options, they first promised to send someone to clean, then it was not possible and we just kep repeating the same pattern as you do with a toxic ex. They then offered a 50% refund only to ghost us when we asked for it. There is no management at the building so everything is done via chat or email. On top of everything, there is a deposit to ensure you leave the flat cleaned and there are signs saying there are fines for dirty dishes and smells. Funny considering how dirty everything was and the smell that we couldn't get ride of. The only good thing is the location, very centric and 15mins walk to the train station. I think the previous guests had a better time considering the state of the flat, the weed on the table and very excited for their new pair of undies, they left the empty package to share the news. I am quite shocked this place is still being advertised in Booking considering the state of the flats and how they treat guests.

Ontzettend smerig stinkend trappenhuis met vieze trapbekleding en muf appartement. Geen vermelding dat je 5 trappen op moet. Foto's waren van een ander appartement. Geen afstandsbediening voor tv, vieze afwas in vaatwasser, geen compleet bestek voor 2. Smerig kleedje in de keuken, vieze krakkemikkig keuken. Het bed was goed en ook nette, schone badkamer. Locatie perfect daarom zo zonde dat ze het appartement niet netjes houden.

Just a stroll from centre. Shower was strong with lots of hot water. We could hear no noise from outside road.

The hallway and stairs to studio were filthy with stains and very narrow twisty stairs. No adequate lighting. No sockets or lockers beside the bed. The "head" of the bed was pushed up against the only radiator in the studio - therefore - no headboard and pillows kept falling over the edge and radiator had to be turned off at night. Floors were dusty and the room could do with a proper clean and a coat of paint. Property not sound proofed. We didnt use the kitchen facilities so can not comment.
