"Magical stay once check-in kinks were worked out; already reserved for next year"

- Amazing location (close to everything: shopping mall, grocery store, pharmacy, sights, waterfront, cafés, restaurants) - spacious - private pool with great view - great outdoor dining area with BBQ - multiple lovely big sliding glass doors that are also very soundproof to stop the traffic noise from bothering your sleep - any of our concerns were addressed promptly by MHM/Lovely Stay staff and in a manner over and above what we expected

We were made to wait 30 minutes for the check-in agent to arrive, further prolonging an already long and complicated travel day with our elderly parents. When the agent did arrive he was very rushed and did not make us feel like valued guests. On top of that, he failed to fully inform us about all the property’s amenities like the retractable awning on the pool deck and the proper procedure for exiting the parking garage via the car elevator. The latter oversight caused us to spend over half an hour ‘trapped’ in the parking garage driving back and forth trying to call the elevator. When we eventually spoke to the MHM/Lovely Stay manager, Hely, he clearly explained that we were to call the elevator by stopping the car at the crosswalk boxes painted on the floor (the light above the elevator will also flash green) and not to drive forward until the elevator doors opened.

Loved the location and the facilities were incredible. Massive apartment and a great place to be with family and friends. Everyone has their own space.

The car lift was erratic and we spent 15-30 minutes 4/7 days trying to get it to work. Neighbours were very helpful.

"Spacious right in the central of Funchal"

The location is very central and so convenient for both funchal old town and the hotels district. The apartment is more spacious than we have imagined it from the pictures. It also is very well equipped. We felt comfortable staying there and would stay here again if we would go back to Funchal as a family holiday. We had a rental car that we only used when travelling to places outside Funchal. We were too late to ask for the pool to be heated so did not use it.
