Modern Apartment in the Heart of Bath

Doy una estrella porque no se puede dar menos. Este es el resumen de la desagradable estancia durante dos noches este apartamento. En primer lugar pido dejar las maletas antes de las 4 pm el día de entrada y me dicen que sí a cambio de una valoración de 5 estrellas. La calefacción no funcionaba, no tenía pilas el termostato. Tuvimos que ir a comprar pilas para cambiarlo. Pone que es para 7 personas pero no lo es ni mucho menos! . Como muchísimo es para 5. El sofá cama es muy incómodo y es individual y eso no es una cama. Solo tiene un baño y no había ni toalla de manos ni alfombra. Nos dejaron 5 toallas muy pequeñas para 7 personas. Tuve que pedir que cambiaran las sábanas porque no estaban limpias. Se veían usadas. Y había pelos de otros inquilinos en ellas. Pedi que nos las cambiaran y las dejaron en el suelo de la escalera encima de la moqueta sucia. Las ventanas no están insonorizadas. Hay mucho ruido de la plaza si se pone alguien a hablar allí . No lo recomiendo en absoluto en ninguna circunstancia . I’m giving one star because it’s not possible to give less. This is a summary of the unpleasant stay we had for two nights in this apartment. First of all, I asked if we could leave our luggage before 4 pm on the day of arrival, and they said yes—but only in exchange for a 5-star review. The heating didn’t work because the thermostat had no batteries. We had to go out and buy batteries ourselves to make it work. It says the apartment is for 7 people, but it is absolutely not! At most, it can accommodate 5. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable, and it’s only a single, which is not a proper bed. There is only one bathroom, and there wasn’t even a hand towel or a bath mat. They left us 5 very small towels for 7 people. I had to request clean sheets because the ones provided were not clean—they looked used and even had hair from previous guests on them. When I asked for replacements, they just left the sheets on the dirty carpet of the stairwell.

No se pudo entrar a las 3pm ya que tuvieron atraso con la limpieza pero entramos a las 4pm y nos dio la oportunidad de hacer el check out a las 11am para compensar/

The best thing about this apartment is the location. Beware this property is located above a Cafe & is tricky to find(the owners don't bother letting you know this simple information) lovely man who owns the coffee shop was very helpful. Also be aware if you drive no cars allowed in direct area.

The dryer doesn't work, kitchen table in kitchen far to big for the space, fuze ball game in living area is broken & falling apart. It needs to go! Perhaps the kitchen table in the space! Bought breakfast to cook only to find not a single fry pan in the place! Totally wasted our money on food we couldn't cook. In the back bedroom, there is a roof with a family of seagulls living there who squark all night, so annoying! Carpet on stairs is threadbare & needs replacing. Shower doors need replacing, they come of the runner. Also all the windows need fly screens as it was warm weather lots of bugs got in, including a few bees. To hot & stuffy to keep windows closed. On leaving, they took by accident another bond from our credit card without so much of an explanation or apology. On following up, the response email simply stated system error. Not good enough, they should have immediately notified me & sent a huge apology! I had to wait 5 business days for the hold to come off, which could have been a disaster if I'd needed that money! I wouldn't stay here again would of been less hassle to book a hotel that included breakfast. A huge disappointment to us & total waste of money in our opinion!

Spectacular location overlooking Abbey Green. Literally 30 seconds walk from the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and the main shopping street. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore the city.

We stayed during a heatwave and there was only one fan provided which was not sufficient for our family. As a result we had to open all the windows at night, and were disturbed by a lot of noise (seagulls, people walking back from the pub) while trying to sleep. The bathroom is small and the shower in particular is very cramped.

Property needs a complete upgrade. Carpets very badly stained. Shower not working. No bath towels we had to buy our own. Stairs not suitable for children or people with mobility problems.

Brilliant location - very near the Abbey and other sites

Unable to get into the apartment at 3pm as cleaner still working Duvet covers were still damp and some towels very wet Shower clip broken so had to use as a hand shower

Brilliant property - location was excellent, very clean and clearly well cared for. Very good value. The softest bed sheets I’ve ever slept in!

Shower was a bit small
