Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes

Liked the cozy cottage and it's location. View of the church from the beamed sitting room was lovely. Tea room cafe in the village very friendly, delicious food. Main bedroom very spacious, and kitchen and shower very nice. Very helpful owner.

The beds in the 2nd bedroom were small for adults, only 2ft 6 and very close together. Having to park 2 cars in front of other cottages was not ideal. Worrying about using too much electricity to keep the cottage warm in mid November.

Comfy beds. Not far from Alton towers. Close to shops. Lovely little touches at property.

Lots of spiders and cobwebs My child is petrified of crawlies. Had to remove about 6 before bed.

Lovely quaint cottage. Lovely location and setting. Everything you needed and even little extras. Crossaints were a lovely gesture and greatly received. Also, the milk. Everything had been thought about. Gorgeous place. Even the pumpkin outside was just a lovely beginning to what a beautiful place awaited us. Just wish it wasn't such a flying visit we had.

Nothing I didn't like. Stairs were very steep. Especially with the bathroom being downstairs made the middle of the night toilet trips a bit more challenging. However, this wouldn't stop me booking again.

The welcome basket with croissants, sweets, tea, coffee and milk was a lovely touch!

Beautiful church opposite the cottage but the church bells kept us awake all night. Lovely cottage but sadly we were unable to sleep due to the church bells.

House was quirky and liked the old cottage feel. Everything you need, clean and comfortable beds. We were staying for 2 nights to go to Alton towers and good location for this.

The stairs are very steep and the second bedroom is compact but fine for our needs.

Lovely quirky cottage in a quaint village. The house was very comfortable and met our needs for our overnight stay to Alton Towers. There was a great pub serving a range of food across the road.
