Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes

Beautifully clean, very quaint traditional cottage. Everything you could want or need for a short or longer stay supplied.

Location was perfect and although breakfast was not included the host left fresh croissants and Jame, tea coffee and milk. Cottage was very pretty and spotlessly clean. Host was lovely. Highly recommended.

Little bit more outside space at back and upstairs toilet would have been great but this is a period cottage so you can’t have everything.

An authentic English pretty cottage in lovely surroundings. Loved the village, it was like something out of an old fashioned film. We had everything we needed in the cottage. There is a really great pub nearby too.

Nothing, it was perfect for us though some people might find the stairs inside a bit steep. We actually liked it's authenticity.

I think Christine,the host , did everything possible to make anyone’s stay a pleasure . There were fresh flowers on the table and in the bathroom .A doggy bag to make his stay comfortable, little treats for us in the kitchen ,so thoughtful

The extras like fresh milk and crossiants Christine, the host, was really accommodating and provided all answers to any questions

Liked everything about the property, but the church bell gets a little bit annoying 😕

Lovely cottage in a great location. Local pub a few steps away is a Jem.

It’s such a sweet, little cosy cottage in a beautiful village, opposite a beautiful church with a pub across the road with excellent food!
