Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes

Croissants with plenty of tea and coffee was a nice touch. Also great selection of games to play on a cosy night in by the log burner. Beds are really comfy too. Couldn't believe there was a pub just across the road and tea rooms a little further up for breakfast - made everything stress free.

Lovely wholesome stay cottage was beautiful the card games etc were an added bonus! lovely and quiet area with fab food down at the local pub across the road.

The cottage is fantastic, beautiful location and a delight to hear the church bells. The Black Lion is great for food.

Clean, tidy and felt comfortable to stay. Felt like home from home. Little touches such as sweets for kids, milk in fridge. No nose really apart from church bells. Loved the cottage feel

Lovely cottage in village, near good pub/restaurant.

The cottage was cosy and quaint but at the same time had all modern facilities. The host had left us everything we could possibly need, from fresh croissants to toiletries! The location was great, right opposite a beautiful old church and a lovely pub !

Only one negative and that was the steep staircase.
