Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes

Lovely character cottage with lots of little extras :) good communication from the host and we always managed to park very close to the cottage!

The stairs are a little bit steep but we got used to them very quickly!

Cosy, great location, friendly locals, host was super helpful.

Would have been good to know the bathroom was down stairs and that the stairs were very steep and small steps, not ideal for night trips to the toilet 🫤

Lovely cottage with everything you needed. Gorgeous little touches such as the croissants, chocolate and milk.

Nothing. Only thing we could not work out how to use the hob but not an issue as we cooked in the microwave and oven instead.

A lovely characterful and well designed little cottage. It was warm , cosy ,and relaxing with the added bonus of a wood burning fire . Lovely touches milk , croissants , jam, chocolate, tea and coffee were very much appreciated. Super location for some lovely walks - Cauldon Canal, the Peak District etc and close to bustly and vibrant Leek . We would love to visit again .

Nothing Just a suggestion- bath sheets would have rounded off the warm and cosy vibe

Picture Perfect in a tranquil location, get ready for church bell alarm clock, made us all smile, priceless!

Comfortable, would have loved to stay longer and explored the locality

Cottage was beautiful and quirky and in the most stunning little village!
