Croissants were a lovely thought for breakfast. There was also a pint a milk in the fridge for us when we arrived.

The only downside (although not the owners fault) was the lack of parking.

"Very enjoyable stay"

9.0

Lovely quiet location. Very comfortable bed. Host provided fresh croissants, jam, hot drinks and milk which was helpful. Black Lion pub just round the corner very friendly with great food.

Stairs a bit tricky but that’s just part of the cottage! Would have been nice to have had flutes for sparkling wine as we had a bottle of champagne to drink.

Met my expectations as a retreat to the countryside and a good base for walking. A lovely pub called the black lion very close by. Beautiful view of the ancient church. Not much else going on but that's exactly what I wanted. The host managed to accommodate an early check-in which was nice - thank you.

It might have been me but I felt the oven was a bit underpowered. Bathroom sink particularly small.
