Chapter Cottage, Cheddleton Nr Alton Towers, Peak District, Foxtail Barns, the Ashes

Location was beautiful. Cottage was cosy and well decorated for Christmas. Comfy sofa and bed and hot showers. We'll appointed to cook Christmas Dinner. Lots of games and things for the dog. Very enjoyable stay. Loved the calming church bells.

Steep stairs meant it could be a problem for the less mobile but fine if you take your time.

As others have mentioned the stairs are very steep. You’re also unable to park directly outside the property but close by. Neither really affected us and it wouldn’t stop us from visiting again!

Clean, comfortable host was very helpful. Pub two minutes walk food was excellent and locals very friendly.

Only one drawback stairs to bedrooms very steep and narrow. Not conducive to elderly or infirm
