1 Bed Flat - Sleeps 2 - Pets - Parking - Wifi

Property was lovely, communication excellent. It would just take a couple of things for a 5 star ie two big towels as two people staying, additional toilet roll, kitchen to have more utensils. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. Also instructions on central heating, oven etc as they were new to us and took a bit of figuring. It was just a few minor niggles, but despite these would stay again but would know to bring extras that were needed for total comfort.

The lounge and bedroom were clean and comfy. The bus to York was easy to access. But be prepared for crowded buses.

Finding the property was difficult as the internet stopped working near to the location. Also there is no sign outside the property. Being told to look for a house covered in ivy is not good in winter. The property was cold when we arrived, we also found half used drinks in the fridge and bag of food in the fridge. When we asked about the heating and complained we were told if we left then we would get out money back.. They told us to use a fire which meant pouring liquid fuel into the fire place which we did not feel was safe. There were no instructions to use the cooker so we could not use it. Due to the way we were spoken to last time we did not feel able to ask for help. The house is just off the bypass to Hull and had heavy traffic on it all day and night. Due to bad internet service the television signal kept flickering.

The annex was beautifully done, the sofas were comfortable, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a lovely walk- in shower.

The internet was awful. There was no normal TV and the internet was so poor, we couldn't stream anything. The evening was the worst, just when you need it. The kitchen was poorly equipped with 2 of everything, no extras at all. There was no introductory instructions for anything, so we couldn't work out how to use the fire. I did ask the management company but they only responded mid morning the following day which was a bit late! We got the oven to work but couldn't turn it off.

Terrible WiFi, lack of basics such as soap and a scourer for the washing up . I wanted to edit this review to be fairer . The above is true but the place was clean , comfortable and easy to access with the hostess replying quickly to messages. Perfectly nice to stay in but a few more small little touches could have been made to make a difference

Lovely cottage

Everything was so simple. We didn't actually need to speak to anyone. The check-in process was very clear. The annexe was very clean, and everything worked.very happy would definitely recommend

Very poor WiFi signal

Exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed. Good coffee and milk supplied. Good communication from host.

More toilet paper needed, only a small amount on arrival. More utensils in the kitchen neede. Both easily fixable.
