Rural cottage! Wood-fired hot tub Bliss awaits

The location was fabulous, close to amenities yet still exuding rural charm. The accommodation was excellent, both comfortable and spacious.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

Beautiful cottage, great, peaceful location for local attractions. We especially loved the chickens, they really made our stay! Lia is an excellent host and sent so much useful information ahead of our stay.

We had some issues with the wood fired hot tub (instructions were provided it just took us a few tries!) but once we figured it out it was fine.

I really can’t fault this cottage at all, it was beautiful and a perfect place to relax for the weekend. The host Lia was in touch and communication was excellent. We are all ready wanting to plan our return!

The location was great for us and the directions Lia sent were very clear. Several videos were sent by Lia prior to our arrival containing useful information. We arrived later than planned but we found the house warm, cosy and well lit. The hot tub was ready to go and an ideal way to wind down after our journey.

There was nothing to dislike, a lot of care and attention was spent getting the property ready for our stay.

The property was stunning. It was comfortable, cosy and clean. The exterior was just as beautiful and the interior and we absolutely loved being there this week to celebrate our mums big birthday. The garden was just a dream too. It gave us the most peaceful stay. I’d highly recommend anyone staying here.

Honestly, there is too much to say here. Rosewall Cottage, and Lia and Oliver are fantastic. It exceeded all expectations. The property and grounds are absolutely gorgeous, but what I really loved was how geared up for a family trip it was. Lia made contact on booking and leading up to our stay, so I knew I didn't need to pack a mountain of toys and books. But the house is so well maintained and cleverly designed, that if you weren't travelling with young children, you would not see a trace of them and also have an epic stay. Lia provided plenty of valuable info that was in no way overwhelming, and made our stay a home from home (sadly I'll never live in a home as gorgeous as this one!) This included things to do and places to visit, many of which we did and loved. All the things you hope are included and more. The garden is stunning. The lighting of an evening around the pond and listening to the midwife toads was magical. I cannot recommend this property enough. The photos do not do it justice. The village is just so beautiful, the location peaceful, and the house incredible. I will definitely return, sadly, probably with the kids again!
