Anchorage, a lovely 2nd floor one bedroom apartment with fabulous seaviews

Lovely apartment with fabulous views. I love sitting at the window and just relaxing. Stayed here a few times now and i always look forward to coming back. I always enjoy an early morning run along the sea front in Largs which is right on the doorstep and so having a washing machine is handy. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need and bathroom has a great walk in shower. Lots to do in Largs with nice walks, shops, and good places to eat, and apartment is close to everything. Fabulous acommodating host and caretaker Linda is very helpful and responsive to messages. Look forward to my next visit.

TV buffering has been fixed since my last visit :) Loved everything, only slight negative is lounge window can sometimes leak in winter when its pouring down, but even that doesnt put me off as its a gem of a place.

Basics weren't supplied but quickly resolved. Although if you want coffee pods from coffee machine you need to bring yourself as advised, not supplied by Linda. No extras included like other pkaces I have stayed such as welcome pack with basic essentials. No extra towels either for 3 days stay, just one large towel and hand towel. Nothing major that was bad, but a few extra touches would have been nice. No extra bedding for sofa bed and main mattress very soft, so not my preference but may suit others.

We had a lovely stay at the Anchorage. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with fabulous views. We found it to be clean and very well equipped and in an ideal location, close to all amenities.

Amazing view and sound of the sea. Very spacious for a one bedroom flat. Right in the town and by the ferry.

Bed was a bit soft, not many kitchen utensils/ pans.
