Anchorage, a lovely 2nd floor one bedroom apartment with fabulous seaviews

The property is perfectly placed for all the local amenities. There are lots of shops pubs restaurants and takeaways within a 10 minute walk of the apartment. It had everything we need for a few nights away.

The main thing was the bed. It wasn’t very comfortable for us, although I am 5’ 11” and my husband is 6’ 5” so we always have issues! The shower isn’t very powerful either, but that’s not a dealbreaker for us. Possibly a blind in the kitchen would also be a great addition as you do feel a bit exposed at night.

The location was 👍 great. The apartment was lovely and clean with everything you need. Lovely big well equpped modern kitchen and bathroom.. Would have liked a bigger bed 🛌

i didnt much like the stairs but thats a personal thing for me. a bit of a spiral and they tend to give me the fear but as i say its a personal thing for me

Superb place to stay, beautifully clean, spacious & practical apartment. Inspiring views of sea & rear of town hills, ideal location for just relaxing in &/or exploring the area.

Fantastic, scenic location overlooking the sea at Largs. Very clean, spacious and newly and tastefully decorated, with plenty of cupboard space. Very central.

If you are used to living in a quiet house you may need to adjust to the noise of being in a flat.

I loved the location. The view from the living room window was amazing, straight over the bay. I enjoyed watching the ferries on their way to Cumbrae and back and, icing on the cake, the Waverley steamed in and out of Largs 3 times during my 4 night stay. The sunset on the first night, looking out over the water and the ferries was spectacular.

I had a problem with the key safe. Standing on your own, unable to access your holiday property is a bit stressful. To be fair, I think the problem was with booking.com as there is 4 digit PIN on the confirmation email and I thought it was the key code. I got in touch with the owner who sorted it out for me straight away. Thank you, Priya!

A very high standard in an excellent location. Well equipped kitchen and very clean. Parking can be a bit of a game, but by the end of the day, we always had a space outside. Despite being a seafront apartment, it was very quiet both internally from neighbours and externally from gulls and traffic etc
