Brunswick road Lovely 2 Bed Apartment

The house had basic facilities.

The flooring was broken which made a lot of noise while walking.

Location- the ability to walk to the city and Royal Mile and also a 5 minute walk to the supermarket. Washing machine. Kitchen well equipped and comfortable lounge room. Bedrooms were a good size.

The bathroom tap had toothpaste splatters and toilet bin not emptied. Doona too small for the bed and pillows were bad.

Speed of reply to complaint. Speed of initial resolution.

Mouse poop Thick layer of dust everywhere Dirty sofa Filthy carpet I couldn't bring my beautiful white wedding dress to this flat to get ready for my wedding. I was too embarrassed to bring my mum and bridesmaids there too. Night before my wedding with zero sleep worrying about mice and having nightmares about bedbugs (there weren't bed bugs), just itched all night as apart from the bathroom and the white bedding, the rest of the flat was horrible. Was too late to go anywhere else for the first night. They sent a cleaner the next day and the flat was very clean for the 2nd night and I was so exhausted I slept well.

Bus stop to city centre was only a few minutes away. Walkable to city centre and the Botanical garden. There was a couple of supermarkets a few minutes away.

The apartment needs modernising. The tiny toilet was separate to the bathroom with no sink. There was only one mirror in the apartment, which was in one of the bedrooms. The laminate flooring was lifting and damaged throughout the apartment. Dust and dirt under the beds. Electric needs checking as there was a burnt smell coming from the bathroom.

Location, cleanliness and communication from agent The beds were comfortable but the mattress could be higher as recessed below bed frame.

Instruction for using heating was a little confusing but eventually worked it out and it was very warm. Could not get WiFi to work or able to use TV. The pillows were not the best The 3 flights of stairs was hard work with large bags but a minor thing

Location is perfect

Collecting the jeys was not easy as we were given the wrong code Heating was not on,we had to set it up,after us calling the number given,we were told to adjust the boiler.We were even told that if we don’t like it,we can look for another property🤷🏻‍♀️ Got several emails about how to check out at 11 am,cleaners arrived at 10 am,they said this is the right time and the info in the email should be updated. Flat was okey but the wind rattled the front dooor constantly

The one apartment is a bit run down and both the toilet and shower lock damage and can't be locked.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was ideal for exploring the city, and the amenities were exactly what we needed. We especially appreciated the smooth and friendly communication with the host.

The door handle was coming off in the bathroom, and the rooms couldn't be heated properly due to the cold floo

Upon check out I had wanted to extend, which the property was unable to do, but they were extremely thoughtful and tried to help me find another unit within their property collection. They were very accommodating and made the experience lovely.
