Dartmouth Caldon Holiday Chalet Sleeps 4 wifi elec inc Pets welcome

The location is great and easy to get into Dartmouth and the area was quiet and calm. We made good use out of the BBQ and garden chairs. The shower was good and so were the cooking facilities. The TV set up with prime and YouTube were also useful when the kids slept. We enjoy eating together at the table and so this was also good. The night lights were very useful for both children and my wife! The host sent a long 'welcome' message with useful information and also helped us with an early check in which we were grateful for.

Unfortunately when we arrived, (just after the cleaners left) we needed to clean the property (food on the tiles above hob, cob webs, etc) and wash the floors as they were sticky and gritty... and as time went on the crockery, as we found it was greasy or just dirty (glasses). Although the oven and hob were great, the cooking pots/pans were not, having to cook pasta for 4 people in two pots and having to throw out the scrambled egg as the frying pan left a disgusting taste and smell. The BBQ again was great, but also needed to be cleaned before use as the gril was dirty. We also cleaned daily as well as emptying the bin after every evening meal however we struggled to keep the flies at bay... My wife and I spent a romantic evening with tea towels and glasses of wine hunting flies. We found that as the week went on, even using the electric radiator in the bathroom, and having the windows almost permanently open, there was an increasing damp smell that we were unable to get rid of... (Our towels were drying but the smell remained.

Only that the frying pan needs replacing and step was a bit high for my elderly mum.

Perfect location. Comfortable and clean. Nice views. Excellent value for money. Would stay again.

Large step into Property was difficult for my 90 year old Mother. TV in lounge was old and couldn’t get ITVX

Tastefully furnished. Good value. Good location near Dartmouth park and ride.

The chalet site was a bit soulless.

Has everything you need! Brilliant facilities and very clean. Excellent communication. Location is great and the site is lovely and quiet.

Everything was good

It was lovely and homely and clean, was a great little stay for a break away, nothing crazy, just a simple cute little break that was well needed. Not too far from the harbour only a short drive away. We had a lovely little break and stay here. Would definitely stay again. Never stayed in a chalet before and was really lovely
