Cathedral View - An Exclusive Private Apartment on Cathedral Green, Exeter

The VIEW!!! (see pic taken from the window!) The convenience of location, the cleanliness - the quick responses from James when we had questions - the huge windows that open right out onto the Cathedral Yard! - the fireplace - the rain overhead shower!

We didn't know to hold the electronic key fob up to a panel to get into the big front door and thought we were locked out till a local person showed us. Turned out fine, but we worried for a minute there!

Fantastic location for the view of the cathedral and access to the city.

Let down by small things. Little cutlery, no scissors. Electric fire not working. No drawer storage or dressing table. No coat hanging in hall.

Lovely apartment, clean and modern in a great location in central Exeter would definitely recommend. Close to shops and 20 mins from St David's station. Good heating system lovely and warm and good equipped kitchen and good oven and cooker. Dishwasher and washing machine are also there. Note, there's no free parking nearby but found some on the other side of the river on Wardrew road in St Thomas. 15-20 min walk to the apartment.

Checking in process was very painful and the communication was quite unhelpful. Repeated the same automated message. Got there in the end all ok, nothing rude or unpleasant just a needlessly complicated check in process.

Location without a doubt- on the cathedral close and walkable to all we wanted in Exeter. Space, privacy, quiet and although we did not cook as we were so close to cafes and restaurants the kitchen is more than suitable if you wanted to. Did not manage to work out heating , my phone was playing up otherwise we could have asked for assistance- it was not an issue. Recommend Flavour of Lebanon and The Ivy, both nearby and Book Cycle book shop.

The process for on line check in was cumbersome from the property managers . In desperation after numerous attempts I received a email from them that helped.

Fabulous apartment right in the heart of Exeter and opposite the Cathedral with all modern amenities and lovely decor. Perfect for a 3 night stay.

Quite noisy with all the tourists milling around on the green by the Cathedral and a shocking amount of rubbish and litter just left outside the apartment because the bins were overflowing which rather spoiled the view and ambiance. Nothing to do with the apartment itself which is lovely. Just a shame the council haven’t put enough rubbish bins.
