Lovely cottage in the centre of Bakewell. No problem parking and good communication. Beds very comfy and coffee pods provided. It has everything you need.

Very welcoming and comfortable

Lovely well presented cottage very close to the centre of town...minutes. Very clean, very tastefully decorated and furnished. We felt very snug in there. Everything we needed was provided including a much appreciated pint of milk and a delicious bottle of wine. A welcome light at the back when you approach the back door which is where you enter the property. The digital combination lock is brilliant and very easy to use without having to put my glasses on. The heating was excellent and easy to adjust and with wood or slate flooring on the ground floor was perfect for our little JRT girl. She was very happy there which is important to us.

Parking. I'm sure if you live in the area you know how the local system works and where you can leave your car on street for a couple of days. I thought I'd found such a place by the church across the road but accessed from the other side...alas Parking ticket. Still can't really understand why as I used the permit provided by the cottage and a local I spoke to at the scene couldn't understand either. It didn't impact on our trip though and obviously not the cottage owners fault.
