The Old Milking Parlour at Knapp Farm

The location was perfect and so was the property. Very spacious and warm with good facilities.

A microwave would have been very useful instead of having to use the oven. A few lightbulbs needed replacing and the toilet was difficult to flush.

I have to say this was one of the nicest places we have stayed, a stunning property and location. We stayed with our two young children, who loved the property and thought it was amazing staying on a farm. The communication from the hosts was excellent and everything was straightforward.

The only negative I can give this property is that there is no shower (there is a bath), but it really didn't cause us any problems at all.

We were told via email the night before arriving that our accommodation was cancelled due to double booking. What a joke. We booked back in Dec 2023. They obviously didn't realise that it was a bank holiday. Very unprofessional. They took our money quick enough knowing it was dishonest. This is not how you run a business. We then spent over 3 hours scrambling to find 4 beds for the next night at a much higher cost and stuff around.

Clean, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Garden patio was lovely. Two peacocks greeted us in the morning as we are about to leave, I should have brought some bird food.

Fab location, very clean, great price. The beds were clean and comfy and sofa bed was perfect for our kids. Milk in the fridge was really appreciated. we really enjoyed our stay and would book again for a longer stay.

Kitchen needs a cheese grater and a bread knife. More plates and bowls would be good as there were only 4 of each. Shower would be great as bath is small but mixer tap on bath would suffice so you can rinse your hair.

Really liked the farm and the hosts were so nice and kind. Beautiful place to stay at with all amenities and quite spacious rooms. Has WiFi and parking as well.

Lovely location, quiet and private on a farm. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Lovely patio area.

Shower would improve facilities.

The accommodation was great in a lovely converted building. Privacy of the cottage even though part of a larger farm.

No shower just a bath. The bathroom tap didn't quite work with the sink, bit tricky. No normal TV - internet access TV was fine just wanted the news so used iPlayer etc.
