Comfy Double En-suite room in Barking

Spacious room and comfortable big bed. The heating was working well. The bathroom is a bit small but well-equipped. Good price compared to other alternatives closer to the city center but you will have to commute for almost an hour to get there.

Toiletries weren't provided so had to buy some soap.

The rooms were very clean and tidy. staff were great.i didn't want for anything

The bathroom was a little small but okay.

Ruth handled everything for me so well. Right from accommodating my request to stay on the ground floor, to offering free washer & dryer use for our clothes, tea & coffee in the kitchen, and helping me feel like this was a home-away-from-home. There is a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & other cooking facilities in a large kitchen, with attached dining & lounge area. The bedroom & entire living areas are kept spotless & appear recently renovated. The bedding was plush & the heating was warm. I was there 1-4 Dec '24 but I would have stayed longer if I'd had the time. The b&b is just a short easy walk from the train station & the road is lined with an assortment of eateries, a cute pub & also a couple of supermarkets just a 1 minute walk away - even with freshly-baked artisan bread. I felt safe behind a high locked gate & the ground floor windows are kept locked too. I highly recommend this place & thank Ruth for the care with which she oversees things. She is a gem!
