we didn't sleep. Employee tries to kiss my friend, not as listed, 1,000s of mosquitos. Unkept. they sold a space that does not even exist.

Great restaurant, overlooking the estuary. Non guests make it a dining destination with always fresh ingredients & choices with the included breakfasts. Location is the quiet part of Las Penitas also lots of fauna & trees on the property.

I stayed in an Eco Bungalow, in the back in the gardens, not much of a breeze or view but quiet. Sleeping with mosquitoe netting & an eco toilet was new for me. I was price driven in choice, I feel I got value for the money paid.

The breakfast was nice, there was a lot of different choices. The hotel is beautiful, 5 min walk from the surf beach. Staff was very very friendly

Super clean, amazing staff…great location(you can get better, but this was perfect) amazing grilled food on the Friday night…and really cheap! Huge vegetarian and vegan menus too…

The staff were nice, however it was very confusing at check in because a waiter from the attached restaurant showed us our room but didn't have any information for us. The food at the restaurant was good. The beach is a two minute walk.

Rats living in the ceiling, very active at night, made it hard to sleep. The restaurant was quite noisy, especially when there was a live band. It was okay, but not exactly a quiet hotel. The beds weren't very comfortable, but the main issue was the mosquitos. The mangrove is nearby, so the mosquitoes are ferocious, and there weren't screens on the windows in our room. If not for the mosquito nets I wouldn't have stayed. They really should install screens and it would make it a much better experience.

What truly stood out was the exceptional care and warmth of the staff. Unfortunately, I fell ill during my trip (completely unrelated to the hotel), but as a solo traveler, I was deeply touched by the genuine support and kindness I received from the team. Special thanks to Sandrine and Mariana, who run the hotel with so much love and dedication. Their care made me feel surrounded by a sense of family, even when I was far from home.
