Rock Mill - Stunning Studio Apartment

Beautiful location, well equipped apartment with a very comfortable bed. Very clean. The Cupola visitor centre and restaurant next door was perfect for food and drink after a day exploring.

There was nothing we didn't like.

First class property in first class location for exploring the Peak District. Apart from the 'deposit' payment of £150 which was hidden in the Booking.com details it was perfect. The deposit should be highlighted when you BOOK not afterwards. I have never in 40 years of travel had to pay a deposit for 2 night stay. But rest assured the apartment and our break was superb :)

Very modern and clean apartments, the facilities onsite couldn't have been better. The dog wash was a big plus for us ! Great spot to visit local towns and walks.

The only thing that I didn't like was the noise from the road but that can't be helped, we soon got used to it.

Wrong code for WiFi in brochure, all details in brochure on line rather than manual ( not much use when you have wrong code for WiFi), no bread knife, no towel hooks or rails.

Modern, tasteful, well equipped. Liked the coffee pod machine, generously supplied. However, no instructions.

Bedding and mattress stained, fans in bathroom didn't work, microwave combination oven and induction hob could have done with instructions. Cupboards too high for myself to reach for all plates, cups and glasses. Had to stand on chair, not safe.

Lovely location. Very nice decor and modern and felt very at home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shower was lovely!

Noise from the main road was a little loud at times and I found it hard to sleep. (Ear plugs would have solved the problem will know for next time) Only big concern I had was when I stripped my bed on the last morning. I took all the pillow case covers off and one of them had a big blood stain on the pillow case and pillow. Wasn't from me as I only used two of them and not the one I found it on. Was very off putting and not something that should have been missed. Also when I first arrived at 4pm (my check in time) there was no key in the lock box so I had to go and find someone to ask where it was. The cleaner still had it as was just finishing off in the room. He was very helpful and obliging and took me up to my room. I did feel as though they were rushing to get them cleaned and ready in time.

Very comfortable and clean. Very dog friendly. Great location near walks and Stoney Middleton village.(and nice easy walk from there to Eyam). Easy parking.

The road in front is quite busy so rooms on back are best if that bothers you. Pre-arrival check-in through Staycay was off-putting but all worked great in the end.
