We really liked the decor and furnishings. The area was very pleasant and close to a supermarket and downtown Memphis.

The kitchen facilities were minimal. We are English and drink tea. No kettle was provided. Also no chopping board or toaster. There was one saucepan and one frying pan. There were no wine glasses. The windows were in bad condition, with a towel over one to stop the draft. They were very dirty too. The bed in the front bedroom had an old mattress that dipped badly in the middle. We had such a bad night's sleep, we changed rooms for the remainder of the stay. The occupants in the upstairs flat walked around the room above us at 1am and 4.40am(not sure why) for some time and because of the creaking floorboards, they woke us up both times. We scraped the underneath of our car every time we drove onto the drive, as the dropped curb was too high and very narrow and rough.
