The host, Tess, was a great host to us! The lodging is near the Jurrasic coast of Southern England. Within 1 hour driving distance there are tons of beautiful nature, small shops and farms. Restaurants are plenty including takeaway options. Strongate is an ideal place for a tranquil weend stay!

Lovely rural location in a beautiful cottage. Garden was great and we saw lots of birds. Rooms were great size. Beds were comfy. Didn’t use the kitchen much but seemed to have everything you needed.

"The host was marvellous! Tessa left a little bit of milk in the fridge, along with fresh home made scones, jam & clo"

The cottage itself is beautiful, set off road, down a narrow lane on a small farm. It was clean, warm, cosy and had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and the water hot. We had a good, quiet and comfortable nights sleep.
