Dana Boutique Hotel & Apartment

The room was exactly as the picture showed, spacious and clean with all the facilities you could need. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The washing machine was great and kitchenette helped too.

The bed was uncomfortable which isn't new in SE Asia as most of the beds we've had over the past 2 months have been really firm however this mattress was wrapped in protective hard plastic that made things extra uncomfortable. Wifi also wasn't great for working so we didn't extend however if you use it for general browsing you'll be fine.

There was no window in the room which made it feel really dull and dark. There was a space for a window between the bathroom and the bedroom however there was no window it was just an empty space with a blind. Again there was a place for a window between the bathroom and the stairwell/corridor however there was now glass just a concrete pattern! This caused a lot of problems as there were screaming children playing on the stairwell every night! The first night we were up until 2am because of the noise coming in! The second night we complained and the noise did stop at 11pm! Also there was a room with a window directly opposite our bathroom that could see straight into our bathroom, this wasn’t ideal! Lastly a lot of the amenities that are stated on booking.com aren’t actually available! There’s no private beach, no clothing racks and lots more!

Super sweet staff, very helpful and helped us when the door to our bedroom got locked late at night 😂
