Fabulous central location, and easy to walk to attractions, transport and supermarkets. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay

Lighting was quite dull, needed stronger globes. Had to have all the lights on in the living room/ bedroom area to read a book or newspaper.

Location and general comfort.

The kitchen could do with upgrading - especially cutlery and cupboards, which seem to be really old.

Kleine gemütliche Wohnung im Herzen von Kirkwall, und doch ruhig. In wenigen Schritten ist man in der Stadt. Küche ist separat vom Wohnraum. Einen Parkplatz haben wir auch in der Nähe gefunden. Frühstück gibt es in der Nähe in den vielen Kaffees, wenn man sich nicht selber versorgen möchte, bei kurzem Aufenthalt ganz praktisch.

Die eng bebaute Innenstadt gibt halt nicht viel Ausblick her, da schaut man in der Parterre Wohnung auf eine alte Mauer und Mülltonnen. :( Aber bei 2 Übernachtungen kann man das schon mal verschmerzen. Die Bettwäsche war aus Microfaser, finde ich persönlich nicht so gut. Geschmackssache.

The flat was rather dark and scruffy. The kitchen was tired looking. The bed had a dark duvet cover on it which made that corner dark. The main room was quite cluttered with bits and bobs and old fashioned

It was a nice stay, we really liked it. The room and the area was amazing, only once the fire alarm went off, because the oven produced too much smoke, sorry for that. All in all we will come back when we are in the area.

Shopping for small items of food was very kind. Comfortable bed. Location. Facilities. Information pack Clean and compact.

Lighting was too dim.
