The location

The cigarette butts all the way to the front door. I know it public little alley but this is your entrance Looking out onto four black garbage cans not so nice particularly on a rainy day When it rained the pathway outside flooded with 4 “ of water . If you are on a time frame to catch a ferry make sure you have wellingtons Front hallway filthy with old fog hair Toe nail cutting on couch a bit much Shower disastrous Wing glasses dirty Horrible nylon sheets that make one sweat Oh dear …do need to try a little harder

This adorable apartment was located in the perfect spot, near restaurants and the town attractions. It was very spacious and comfortable. The entrance to the main building is the 2nd door from the street & is unlocked. The key to the studio in an on-site lockbox which is eye level on the right hand side of the flat door. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom was compact with a very small shower & wonderful butterscotch smelling hand soap. The kitchen contained a fridge. micro, stove, coffee maker, kettle, washer & clothes drying rack. I love the setup of the place with a fireplace which I didn’t use. There are many eating establishments in the area with Lucano, an Italian restaurant next door. Bruce's store is just pass Orkney Hotel.

The only negative item was that the window looked out toward the trash bins. One had to close the curtains to cover them but then the room was a bit dark. One suggestion is to possible use an opaque film on the lower part of the window to let the natural light in but hide the trash bins.

Very convenient location, easy to get to. Long-term parking is an easy walk away.

Although it's ground floor it's not completely accessible, if you have a wheelchair it definitely won't work, limited mobility you should be OK. Honestly though it is a great little place to set up base if you are fully able
