The loft at Mayfield, Harrogate

it didn't matter that I arrived after I said I would. The heating was efficient in the bedroom ,hall and bathroom. the kitchen was modern and well appointed.The sofa and living room were very spacious.The bed was comfortable .

for me I had a challenge with the height of the key box and the stiffness of the lock itself-maybe me as I was arriving in the dark and rain so visibility was difficult and bending to see it whilst not kneeling on a damp floor was a challenge. Narrow turn on entrance to the flat when you have large bags.

Very clean, bright and airy. Had all we needed and pleasant to be inside.

Bed too narrow for real comfort. Needed wider mattress, base was designed for a wider mattress. Some pillows needed replacing. Wooden spoon and serving spoon in cutlery drawer needed. Wider worktop on breakfast bar so knees fitted under.

Convenient and lots of space

Steep stairs to apartment. No curtains in bedroom which made it difficult it sleep as light by 5am. Drain in shower slow to go away resulting in water all over bathroom floor. Some dust on skirting boards and bedroom cupboards.

Location excellent for attending sporting fixtures.

The local car parking pass was really useful. Very extensive accessories in all rooms. Very short walk to the centre of Harrogate.

The stairs

Clean, comfortable, decent amount of kitchen equipment. Well located for train & bus station and easy walk into town. Good price point for Harrogate accommodation. Would be happy to stay here again.

Not a concern for me but stairs could be a problem for those with mobility issues. Bed might be on the cosy side for two. Agree with other reviews mentioning that the bedroom is very light early in the mornings - I took an eye mask.
