Thekwane Nest and Ondini Self catering cottages

We went for peace and quiet and that is what we got. There was plenty of room and firewood. It was peaceful and the cleaning lady was excellent. It was a lovely holiday home for those who want to come and not leave for several days.

The property needed a good DEEP clean. The can opener was broken and the tap in the kitchen leaked.

I liked everything. I would definitely book again if im going to that area. Views are exceptional, lots of space, and a lovely area for the dogs to run around and play.

I didn't like that i booked so few nights. I should have booked a longer stay.

The living space was open plan and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms and linen were clean and well kept. There are a few farm animals on the property that the children were able to feed and pet. The family dog was also friendly. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The property is on quite a bank so our boys were a bit disappointed that they could not ride their bicycles much while we were at the house. But Drak Gardens is a stone throw away and we spent most of our time there. It would be super if the hosts could pay the subscription to Drak Gardnes that would allow for their guests to have unlimited free access to Drak Gardens. There were signs of mould in the house. Would not be ideal if a person had mould allergies. A glass panel in the patio door had been replaced with a piece of shutter board, this was not aesthetically pleasing. The knives were blunt and the cutting boards need replacement, also a more airy place to be stored/ dried properly. The gardens were pretty but looked as though they were in need of some weeding and cutting back around the staircase and braai area. Charcoal in the flower pots was not a great site.

This place was fantastic! Very spacious, Amazing views and incredibly peaceful and quiet.

It's a very cute cottage for myself and my husband! It is super peaceful, and the views are incredible! They supply firewood for you and top it up if needed. Every day, they clean the cottage at your convenience. Don't have 1 bad thing to say about Thekwanes Nest

Fantastic view. There were plenty of resorts around to visit. The scenery from the cottage balcony surrounded by wildlife and a mountain view was amazing!
