"We couldn't stay here and the staff organised us to stay at another Lime Tree Hotel nearby."

Nothing, although the staff were courteous.

The road to the hotel was a mile of potholes and discarded rubbish and building materials. The taxi driver was extremely unhappy taking us there. Rooms were dirty, bed was stained, wall paper peeling and furniture in poor repair. Shower room unpleasant. Tiles were cracked or broken and the so-called 'balcony' was littered with discarded cigarette buts and ash. Room charges were £250/night which was extortionate. This was possibly due to a major trade fair being held nearby at the time. The usual price is normally much lower.
