Das Essen, weder Frühstück noch Abendessen, hat uns nicht geschmeckt.

No negative thing

We booked a double sea view and were put on 6th floor. The view was great and the glass balcony wall enhanced it

Well, when we went to check in, the desk staff saw that we made through booking and he goes “oh you made with booking” in a negative tone. We were shown the direction of the elevator with no offer to help with our bags ?4*? We were then given the handicap accessible room were the size of the room was shortened so they could add space to the junior suite next door; approx 45sq ft. We go to dinner, and first 2 plates we pick up were dirty. The first few bowls my wife picks up had lots of water in them. We are vegetarian, so the selection was very slim; I had some spaghetti with bland tomato sauce, and some bread, but had to fill up with ice cream. If you eat meat, there are plenty of options. We don’t drink alcohol either so we didn’t get the drink package, but trying to get a server for some coke was almost more trouble that it was worth. That also meant that our used plates and bowls piled up on our table. We had just come from Sa’entrador down the beach and their service and food were great. Before that we were at one of the RIUs in Palme and their food was ok, and the service was great. The party went on until midnight as it is an adults only hotel. You can hear people having fun even on the sixth floor. Come morning we were disappointed again with the limited poor quality and selection of food; except for the coffee machines. But if you have more that one cup, or you fave multiple people in your party, don’t expect to get your used dishes bussed until after you leave. We had such high hopes that we had scheduled 9 nights here. It was a Hyatt brand, so it must be exceptional like we thought the Hyatt name emboldened, but where not pleased. We checked out the next day, and Booking said they will give us a prorated refund. So we booked the remaining 8 days at the Iberostar next door, and couldn’t be happier; the food is the best so far, and the staff is friendly.

Die Lage ist super. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Sauna klein, die Zimmer etwas ungemütlich und nicht besonders warm! Der Wind zog durch die offenen Spalte der Türen und Fenster.
