Location!!

The stairs and the fact that they didn't answer one request while I was there. The TV in the bedroom was broke and the dishwasher had a smell.

Amazing neighborhood. Apartment was much more spacious than a hotel room for our family of 4. Building was very quiet

The 5th floor walk up was a little challenging. The main bedroom was very tight to navigate. Had issues working the TVs but we're too tired to bother the staff to try to figure them out.

The location is incredible, plenty of restaurants and stores within minutes. Subway station was very close as well. The apartment was also very comfortable and nicely decorated.

The radiator started making a heavy rattling sound one of the days early in the morning and then it was leaking for a while.

The property is advertised as spacious apartment that can accommodate a group. The truth is the 2 beds are smaller than queens and not large enough to fit 2 in one room. The bathroom has mold and the water pressure is very low( so taking a shower is just a hustle) The buttons for the stoves are broken which makes turning them on scary. The heat ( oh wow) , to turn on the heat you need to put your hand through a broken box, and guess on which side you should turn on the heat on.meanwhile, because the heating is turned off, you have to wait an hour until the radiators start heating. Once they started heating, steam was coming out and waters drops were were leaking on the floor( but the owner said- don’t worry if it s not a lot than that is from the steam), the sound of the steam + the drops, frustration to go to sleep. Last, please note the apartment is on the 5 th floor. In case you are traveling with a larger suitcase( like in my case) this apartment is not for you. Staircase is not wide and a lot of stairs until the apt- this should be mentioned somewhere by the owners

Excellent location just a couple minutes walk from Brooklyn Promenade; nicely styled; comfy beds; updated bathroom; secure entrance

Quirks of an older building meant lower water pressure, needing several minutes for the water to get hot, and limiting the use of multiple electrical devices at the same time. Plus the 5th floor walk-up made us realize we're very out of shape. No deal breakers, just things to be aware of.

The location of the property.

The apartment was very dirty, the towels were moldy, the linens were not cleaned. There is no option to open the windows.

Great location on Montague Street. Easy walking distance to sites, restaurants and the subway.

A/C in both bedrooms would be nice.

Amazing location, right on Montague street in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. Spacious for NYC. Responsive hosts.

A few big issues that really impacted our stay. First, the wifi never worked. We rebooted it, and tried reconnecting but over our 4 day stay it never worked. Which meant the tv also didn’t work as the tv was wifi connected. Second, the worst part was the door. Inside the building there’s an old door with a wonky lock that our key never easily opened. We would stand in the hallway for 15, 20, 30 minutes each time juggling the lock (which seemed to be a copy of a copy) and often just hoped for someone to leave and let us in. Really intolerable. If the hosts weren’t responsive and accommodating we honestly thought about leaving early. Be wary of the door before booking.

Loved the location. Literally beside the subway station on Monatugue street. Beautiful area of Brooklyn. Great food options on street. Great size apartment for NY.

The only downside was the 5 flights of stairs and no elevator. It was ok for us as we were all able for them but maybe to let people know incase of mobility issues.
