Edificio Art Deco en Roma Norte

The Deluxe apartment has a great location and nice park views.

We stayed in Edificio Art Deco En Roma Norte in May 2025. I thought I had booked the deluxe double studio (depicted in the first 50 pictures on the website) but instead I had booked the Deluxe apartment which is in a different building entirely and not modernised. I think this is an easy thing to do given the names are similar. Unfortunately we experienced the problems listed below. Review for Deluxe apartment: 1. Misleading booking.com pictures and apartment name (as similar to modernised apartment). Reviews on booking.com not representative of this particular apartment in my opinion 2. The apartment is dark, feels like an antique shop and has a stuffy smell. It does not have well fitted amenities as per the description. 3. Services not as advertised. No roof top terrace, elevator not in service during stay. 4. Noisy at night, as next to bar/restaurant which played loud music late into the night not advertised on property. Could not sleep 5. Rattling bedroom door, noisy at night. 6. Electrical socket hanging off wall, unsafe. 7. We found a large cockroach in the bedroom indicating poor hygiene. This caused major inconvenience of cleaning our vacation clothes as suitcases were placed open on the floor. 8. Flat next door with adjoining balcony, person smoking Marujuana on their balcony one evening and the smell entered the main bedroom for hours. The host is responsive but did not agree nor acknowledge our poor experience. Given the other factors listed above I would not recommend staying in the deluxe apartment. Be thorough and double check which apartment you are booking. We would have liked to stay in the modernised apartments as the reviews do sound great.

Excellent location right on the Plaza Rio de Janeiro. My flight came in very late and the instructions to get in were very accurate and thorough.

I wanted to leave my bags till 7 pm but was told they could only hold till 5. I understand as they do not have staff after 5 pm.

Omg such a beautiful apartment and the bed was the most comfortable bed and with the softest sheets!! Wish I could live there permanently!! Great location! Simply amazing!

Noise in the night, not olnly for the bars but for the people working in the next building at 3am.

Beautifully decorated, great terrace and super comfy large bed.

The surrounding noise was quite loud from flats upstairs and cleaners downstairs in the mornings. Also beware of mosquitoes coming in through the bathroom window. But other than that very good value for money and Christian was so helpful with arriving early/leaving late!
