Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns

Great hotel, staff were very helpful in sorting us a suitable room. The superior was huge! Bar was good, breakfast was amazing. All staff we came across were polite and helpful. Would definitely again when we visit family down south.

Room was quirky and small but clean - with a lighter decor it would be better - not even room for a bedside table and the light switches were down the side of the bed.

Room felt dingy and claustraphobic.

Good comfy bed, bathroom clean and tidy, shower was good with plenty of hot water. Rooms are dated, but functional.

The fire alarm sounded around 9am... we were registered as disabled guest. At no time did any staff come and check on us, when there is a fully blind guest staying and the fire alarm sounds, the fire Marshall should have checked on extremely vulnerable guest or atthe very least tasked another member of staff to check.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very pleasant and the dinner was excellent. I was lucky enough to acquire one of the parking spaces. The single room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge and spotless!

This is an old building and some areas are rather tired - a lick of paint would have been a great improvement.

Location was great 2 minutes from the town and shops cafes

Such a wonderful stay, and beautiful building! Shout out to Tony for checking us in. She was just lovely!
