Chic Urban 2 Bedroom Apartments

We liked the apartment layout and the beds were comfy.

Location wasn't great - slap in the middle of student accommodation and next door were playing their music really loud. Cutlery, crockery and glasses werent clean and the outside space that one bedroom looked out on, was full of weeds and brambles. Outside the back door were loads of cigarette butts and boxes,

Clean and comfortable beds, close to Cardiff Castle.

Street was under construction and full of garbage. Layout was very narrow; not ideal for a family, only a couple. Parking was also far away.

Location was perfect we was in walking distance of the town centre and Sport wales national centre

Convenient location and easy to walk to Cardiff city centre. Good communication throughout booking.

Location is right in the centre of the student residential area which is very untidy and dirty.( not the owners fault but it felt unsafe and was a biohazard.) The apartment needs a deep clean ! I’m not convinced the bedding was fresh , and the towel in the bathroom was dirty .The photos online show what it looks like,but in reality it’s all very shabby and renovated cheaply. The sofa smelled of dog and the floor in the main room had definitely not been mopped . Our socks were brown and the floor was sticky . The front door and entrance were very dirty and the door itself looked like someone had tried to break in. The small outside area by the back door was grubby and full of cigarette ends and litter/ weeds. I would not recommend staying here !!

The process to get into the property for over complicated. It required a total of 3 electronic combination locks. The main street door, The inner apart door and the individual rooms which were already open. These codes were sent to me in a way that was not via the booking dot com website or email so i found it almost impossible to find it in the dark and rain outside. I tried to call the host but it took 3 calls for him to reply. We eventually got in. Secondly, while the street is close to the centre, the street itself is very rough and each neighbouring property is a mess with litter. The apartment itself could not be described as spacious. It was not like the photos in any way. Outside the back door was filthy and the back yard was a mess with overgrowth.

Apt was very clean and tidy and close to the city. 25 minute walk or 8-10 minutes in a taxi.

I felt the charges to check in earlier than 3pm were a bit cheeky especially on challenge cup final day when the game was kicking off at 2.45. On the Saturday itself we were advised at 9am that we could check in sooner, so I appreciate that gesture but we'd already arranged other plans for our luggage by that time (as we had arrived in Cardiff very early on Saturday). I just felt the fact that kick off was 2.45 could have been considered sooner and maybe for the day that was in it.

The apartments were very spacious and had everything that you need! The accommodation felt safe and well kept and even though the area is a very busy location you felt set away enough to have your own time and space
