Vilamendhoo Maldives Resort Island

Everything was amazing. Staff is so so friendly. The house reef is astoundingly good with abundant fish and healthy coral, you feel like you’re scuba diving at a premier site. But then, you do go scuba diving with the excellent staff of the on-site Euro-Divers, and you’re in heaven

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, Sonderwünsche wurden sehr schnell umgesetzt. Unsere Strandvilla- ein Traum! Direkt am Strand das wirklich wunderschöne Hausriff- schnorchelt man schon los, wenn der Tag beginnt. Freundliche Menschen- alle sehr zugewandt. Das Essen wunderbar- auch für Veganer war reichlich Auswahl dabei. Täglich wechselndes Themenbuffet- hervorragend. Wir bekamen sogar eine extra Karte. Die Tauchbasis war einfach nur klasse. Danke besonders an Niels und Tomoko- wir sind wenig erfahrene Taucher und haben uns immer sehr sicher gefühlt, es gab sehr viele Tipps wie wir uns technisch verbessern können und Ihr habt Euch auch gut abgesprochen, wie wir gefördert werden können - super! Die Tauchausflüge waren großartig organisiert, vorbereitet und die Stimmung war toll. Vielen Dank für eine Woche der Tiefenentspannung von Peter und Anja

Poor handling of our arrival and transfer planning Our flight from Malé to the resort was scheduled very early in the morning even though no room was available for us on arrival We already had a hotel room in Malé until 12 noon, so we could have stayed there comfortably Since the resort knew the room wouldn’t be ready, the flight should have been scheduled later to avoid unnecessary waiting We went on the whale shark excursion twice but did not see any whale sharks I understand this depends on nature and is not the resort’s fault, but mentioning it for future guests’ expectations

We spent 5 nights for our honeymoon in Vilamendhoo and we enjoyed every second from the beginning until the end. The house reef is excellent for snorkelling a couple of times a day - for our preference the northern part was nicer and full of different fishes, reef sharks, etc. The snorkelling day tour is a must - we were lucky and could spot whale sharks, manta rays and turtles. We booked all-inclusive and we can only recommend that in order to avoid thinking about prices, etc. The quality of the food is excellent and the menu is changing constantly so as you never get bored. Overall an amazing experience!!

The massage sessions are pretty expensive

The area around the resort is amazing. We can spend the whole day snorkeling. It looks like an aquarium.

The buffet could use an upgrade. The fact that we have to fill a form daily to have the mini bar items replaced even with the all inclusive package is a bit annoying.

Il Reef pieno di pesci e facile da raggiungere. L’isola ben curata, la villa sulla spiaggia e le coccole del personale.

Vario il cibo e anche buono, ma a volte non erano presenti pietanze più semplici, mancava la presenza del Kids corner che in un’altra visita precedente avevamo invece apprezzato.
