The Old Shop Cottage, Llandudno

The cottage is lovely. Very quirky and well equipped. I had a very positive experience with booking this property also. I had made a mistake when I booked the property and the owners were very accommodating and kind. They also gave me the opportunity to arrive slightly early. The location is excellent. The parking was challenging, but it all worked out and to be fair, this property is not advertised as having parking. Again, the owners were happy to help with this, too. We walked around lots and were really pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous views that are very close by. The pub, directly opposite was a bonus. Dog friendly, serving delicious pizza.

My only criticism was the stairs. Again, though, to be fair, I am aware that the stairs are described as steep. My dog is big and old and they could not be accessed by him, but I don't blame the owners for the age of my dog. That is on me, to be mindful when booking accommodation. We did manage to work around it. All in all, this didn't affect the quality of our stay.

Absolutely everything was perfect! We stayed for my partners 40th and the hosts even left a hamper with food and drinks, a balloon and a card! Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was also provided.

For a small cottage, found it to have plenty of space. Weather very hot during our stay, but the cottage was cool and airy and not uncomfortable at all.

The stairs a little steep… but managed them ok after a few attempts.

It was a very clean little property, there was a lovely welcome basket waiting for us which we really appreciated. There is a great little pub right across the road which serves lovely food and had evening entertainment.

It not really a didnt like...more of an observation. I just would have found a little side table helpful to place my coffee on rather then have to use the floor.
