Apartment delle Rose - Menaggio

Perfect location in the centre of Menaggio. Great view from the bathroom. Friendly stuff.

the apartment is goed, two bathrooms are convenient. at night was a bit noisy from the street

Apartment needs some upgrades. TV setting was on non Italian foreign channels. Contact person could not fix problem and we did not understand why. Toaster did not work.

Very cute, close to ferry, well outfitted, next to square and restaurants. Excellent AC. Mocha pot. Nice to have 2 BR and a separate living room and cute balcony off kitchen.

Upgraded but was a walk up 2 steep flights of stairs.

We reported a broken toilet seat that had been cleaned and taped. It was replaced the following day early evening.

No waste bins in bedrooms. 30 stone steps to the apartment. Needs to be on facilities list S opossum to not suitable if mobility is an issue.

Pleased to stay at Menaggio - best place to be based I think for Lake Como. Got bus to Villa Carlotta (just 2 Euro), Market at Lenno and Villa del Balbianello (under 15 mins by bus). Relatively flat town centre compared to Bellagio, Varenna (loads of stairs) - easy to walk around Apartment is in fantastic location right next to the main Piazza 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 shower rooms Like the gas hob in the kitchen and plentiful crockery and novel kettle. Good drawer lay out Responsive helpful host Close to many restaurants, a great cafe/cake shop, famous gelato, the marina, lakeside promenade, ferry port. Probably the best place to be located in Menaggio Cute little balcony with view of lake Parking space in a secure car park around 5 mins walk away. Most useful as parking is otherwise very difficult to secure. We left our car there for the 6 days and went everywhere by bus or ferry Supermarket just 5 mins away, also good Sushi fusion restaurant Worth doing the historic Town Would stay here again when in town

Thought there would be a washing machine 2 flights of stairs with no lift so unsuitable for some guests
