Itzé Hostel Boutique - Progreso

The hotel is a block from the beach and Malecon. There was a well equipped kitchen to use. Was not a very long walk to the main downtown. There were plenty of places to eat. I felt very welcomed.

The hotel was great, however, be aware that there are loud music venues close by.

Very nice little hotel to stay in Progreso, one street behind the main malecon and beach. Clean and comfortable.

Very nice welcoming Host. Cute hostel. Comfortable beds. Very close to the beach boulevard. Restaurants in walking distance.

For me it wasn’t a problem but to people who are sensitive with noise there is a bar next door and you hear the music a bit. I still could sleep wonderful.

Giancarlo is an exceptional host. He is very welcoming and available to share information and/or conversation as you wish. Our private room with bath (with hot water) was simple but clean, spacious, and comfortable with a bed and a couch. Our room had plenty of natural light and a well-functioning air conditioner. The shared kitchen was a great amenity that saved us money on food. There is a well-stocked Oxxo across the street and a Starbucks. I usually prefer local coffee shops but the Starbucks was much better than the other two coffee places I tried on the malecón. Plus, the Starbucks is located in an interesting architectural space on the ground floor of the museum across the street. Itzel is in a great location just a short block from the nicest end of the malecón!

A beautiful new spacious room, one block from the beach, friendly hosts. There is a kitchen you could use as well.

The facilities were newly beautifully decorated clean and comfortabel. Good beds and kitchen facilities. The owners Giancarlo and Marcella are the most helpful and friendly you can meet in your travels. Location is super.
