Cosy Cabin on the Golden Circle

Beautiful home with large porch. 20 minute walk to a nice waterfall and even less to a smaller one. Well equipped kitchen.

Having just one bathroom for a home that sleeps nine people is just not enough. We were there with five and even then, a second bathroom would have been nice. No washer or dryer in the house. Other than the loft, the bedrooms were so small that there was no place to put a suitcase.

This is very clean and nice place to stay. Many attractions are nearby.

It’s a bit smaller than what you would expect, I would say at most 4 people as it only has one bathroom

Location was within easy 30 minutes to everything was wanted to see if not less. Nice walk to a waterfall as well.

The location was wonderful; beautiful hiking close to the cabin, with Bruarfoss close by. It was our favorite hike of the trip. Another highlight was Laugarvatn Fontana, also not far.

Really no complaints. We had a few issues but we had immediate helpful responses so it was no trouble.

Beautifully appointed, warm, cosy and bright

Nothing to dislike - just be aware that the exterior bathroom door will lock automatically if the door blows shut, which is not great when you’re half naked in the hot tub and it’s -4°c outside.

Very beautiful location! Has everything you would need for an extended stay. Hot tub had been broken prior to our stay and the owners got it fixed our first night after the roads being closed due to weather. Breaker also tripped and power was out. They were able to get it running for us again. They are also very responsive for any issues! Very close to a few different attractions with Bruarfoss only being a 15-20 minute walk from the house!

Could use another couch instead of chairs for more cozy seating.
