The location is great if you want a unique historic experience in the heart of the old town, surrounded by ancient meanderig roadways and within walking distance of Fort Jesus. We got lost trying to find it in the narrow roads, but the host Fatima was very helpful and came out to meet us. The apartment is very good, I wish we had longer than one night there to really relax and enjoy the place and area. It is noisy and busy with families close by, so dont book if this might bother you better not book here, but if you like family life and historic buildings, then this is the perfect choice. Fatima is so helpful, and got us a yaxi to the station the following morning. She followed up to check all was ok, so thank you Fatima for your great hosting!

Not getting lost, but thats our fault!! Difficult to take a car around the little lanes of the Old Town, and satnav was helpful but often too late or didnt realise the lane is too small for a car. Advice is to get to Fort Jesus and then it is one straight road from there. Cold shower only

It was clean and just near the sea. It is in a classic part of Old Town so lots of character. We were warmly welcomed by Fatma. She gave a tour of the area so we felt comfortable with our surroundings. Anything we needed she was able to provide including transport and tips on restaurants.

It can be a little loud at night if the neighbours have their music on too high or people are driving tuk Tuks on the little road outside. There are no windows that close completely to shelter the noise. It is a new rental so still being built up but if something was missing such as bowls we just asked and she provided.

Good location in the old town very close to the famous Fort Jesus. The host was exceptional, very friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent communication with the host. The apartment is very spacious with 2 big rooms and a living room and kitchen.

A bit noisy.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable unit positioned in the historic old town of Mombasa. Excellent position from which to explore the old town, with Fort Jesus and many restaurants within easy walking distance. It was lovely to relax in the quiet unit after being out and about. Our delightful host, Fatma, was very welcoming and looked after us very well providing lots of information about the old town.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The location is good to explore the old town.

The property is secure, however, visitors should be careful in parts of the old town due to security issues.
