Mombasa Comfort House, Old Town

This is a really great place to stay right in the old part of Mombasa which is very atmospheric. It is comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet. We also felt very safe walking around even in the evening. Fatima was a wonderful and kind host, she helped me find a couple of shops in the old town to do some.errands and showed us the market, she went out of her way bearing in mind it is Ramadan at the moment. If we come back to Mombasa we would stay here again for sure, it was such a good experience.

Everything was great..just one recommendation to always use the tuktuk driver Fatima can organize for you, as it will be half if not a third the price of anything you can get on the street and Fatima can book the driver for you.

Location was very nice. Unlike what was said online, old Town was a very very safe place for me. Beautiful neighborhood and proximity to the ocean as well. Best part is the hostess. Fatma was so kind and is ready to help out with every request you have. She helped me organize transport from airport, city tour in the morning and sunset boat tour in the evening. Recommend for everyone

An AC might be an asset, but huge ceiling fan in the sitting room and the bedroom so it's manageable.

Great spot in the old town. Lots of a space! Staff was very helpful and checked in on us ready to help us if we needed anything.

Can’t think of anything

Nice apartment in the heart of Old Town. Fatma, the host, was really helpful and kind to assist us with everything … from money exchange to organising milk for our daughter late in the evening, to recommendations on restaurants etc. Advice: Ask your driver to phone her to get directions, we used the gps and it was a little bit difficult to find it, but she can give instructions to the driver for an easy way to get there !!
