Floating Hotel- Happy Nile Boat

Ahmed and his family were great and made us feel really comfortable. They helped us with everything we needed. The location is beautiful and the sundeck provides a great view of luxor temples.

It’s hard to get to the floating hotel if you have many baggage, because the way you go to hotel is by a very small boat

Very welcoming and helpful host and staff. Lots of available options for things to do around Luxor but just hanging out and relaxing is ok too. Very nice experience.

I think their location is great as they offer a boat service to either side of Luxor. We noticed that the owner Ahmad makes it a point to have conversations with every guest that checked in. I feel it gives a personal touch. He even informs us of his services but not pushy about it. He leaves the choice to you. Meals are very reasonable at the accommodation itself. Adam the chef very obliging.Their were generous with their breakfast portions. They even went above and beyond by packing our breakfast on our last day as we had an early checkout. Najar spoke good English. He was very helpful and accommodating. No errand was too much to ask Hamddy They provide laundry service. Sheets were clean, air conditioner worked, bathroom was ok what more can you ask for!!!!! I would recommend this place for down to earth travellers.

Mixed feelings about this comment as they had someone on the top deck to provide help should any guest need something during the night. I found them a little noisy but knowing they were there to help me, I'll let them go on this.

I absolutely loved staying here. Such a beautiful place to wake up. Very peaceful and calm. The rooms were clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. Ahmed was so accomodating and friendly made us feel right at home. He helped us with drivers to see the Valley of the Kings etc for a really reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place if you want a place to chill and enjoy the views of the Nile.

It could be challenging to get to as you have to get on a small boat to get to the hotel. My boyfriend and I were fine as we are young. It didn't really matter to us, it was all part of the experience!

Staying on a houseboat on the Nile for 2 nights was awesome! The view, the happy feeling sitting on the deck for breakfast, which was tasty, varied and filling, and also for sundowners after our hot days out and about. We were in the middle boat of the 3 that are moored there together. Our one room had AC so we just squashed into that room on the two 3/4 beds. The other room had a massive noisy fan that would be a bit much in the night, so we just used it for the bathroom and suitcase storage. Getting across the East bank is so easy, right from the houseboat, using one of the ferry boats that are a dime a dozen. Having all the owner's boys helping and bustling around the boat created a very busy happy vibe. We definitely recommend staying at Happy Nile boat

Perhaps a slightly more sturdy way of accessing the boat. It was fine for us but could be a problem for someone with mobility challenges
