ZAStunning setting, the pool was greatly appreciated and the gazebo in the heat.
The storm knocked out the power which was not an issue however having no water was terrible, maybe let people know in advance that there will be no water if there is no power or provide extra water for flushing toilets. The heat was very difficult to sleep in without adequate fans especially when the power was out. The dishwasher was filled with cockroaches and due to no water we felt bad about leaving dirty dishes behind.

GBThe views are magnificent. One really feels as though one is in a tree house.
One really does need a higher ground vehicle to travel through the Mabalingwe Reserve to get to the home. We managed with a Toyota Etios, but we had to drive very slowly.
ZAThe Lynette van Schalkwyk was the most horrible, rude and condescending host I've ever come across. Her communication skills are literally non existent. 6missed calls without any response (5 days prior to our trip) ,had to re send POP of things I've already sent. She sent a message Friday morning of the trip saying she's upgrading us with a different house, but we're not happy at all, so we didn't stay at the Boomhius. The Wi-Fi wasn't there either..Saturday we didn't get breakfast in time due to her lack of communication, Sunday we didn't get breakfast at all, then she said it was a complimentary breakfast. How? If we paid "breakfast included "package. I never want someone to encounter what we went through with that Lynette van Schalkwyk.
ZAThe peace. the private pool, the entire home was private and very peaceful. Comfortable beds and well taken off home.
The couch could be upgraded for more comfortable seating. Maybe update and upgrade. Cover the roof to keep the cool squirrel out.
ZAOur first time with the key box option, but once we understood the process, all was good and ready with a sweet welcome note and all.
The lighting on the steps going down to the pool was very poor at night and someone could get hurt. A small correction and this can be sorted.
