That the third room is not connected to the main house
ZAZAZAZAWe loved our short visit to Boomhuis, it really felt like we were staying in a tree house. The beds and linen were of excellent quality and we particularly enjoyed the deck as well as the bonus breakfast- it was a real treat to have a prepared breakfast delivered each day.
Maybe going forward - a covered braai? our food got a bit drowned in the rain on our first night, but we managed with the gas stove. Also a pool scoop please!
ZAThe surroundings are exquisite. The additional luxury apppliances sucka s coffee maker ans dishwasher are a welcome bonus. Very neat and extemely clean braai facilities.
The room where the Ice machine is stored was not as clean as the rest of the property.

The unit was not clean when we arrived after 2pm - our arranged arrival time. The unit cleanliness was overall not good. The outside lights ended up tripping from day 2. The rain leaked into the house and through the cupboards, making all the clothes in the main bedroom cupboard wet. The one toilet stopped flushing. The water pressure was very low. the inside rooves were not clean at all, many spiders and spiderwebs above the beds on the rooves. We had to leave a day early due to all the issues, and did not even get a refund for the additional day we lost. Further, it took over a week to pay back the deposit of R2000.00 only after I had to continuously follow up.
ZABeautiful location and pool. The braai area is lovely. The owner (Henry) was helpful.
The property does not have adequate seating for more than 4 people inside, the kitchen utensils and oven dishes etc is sparse, the host is unfriendly, the rooms have no cupboards, there is no back up for water or power. Since Eskom lines were down we had no power or water for hours each day.
