Hôtel Beau Site Talloires B SPA

Le lac est sublime, du coup y avoir un hôtel avec accès direct nous semblait être un rêve mais le séjour a été très décevant

En premier lieu, notre chambre, comme une quinzaine d’autres, n’est pas dans le bâtiment principal mais dans un secondaire, plus éloigné du lac, zéro vue évidemment, moquette pas terrible partout même l’escalier, franchement l’arrivée déçoit beaucoup. La chambre est très très sombre, un seule toute petite fenêtre (lucarne?) qui donne sur une ruelle donc face au mur des voisin d’en face. Petit velux dans la salle de bains, dont la lumière est obstruée en partie par une feuille scotchée dessus stipulant de ne pas ouvrir. Ensuite, on nous a expliqué comment nous rendre à la plage privée : en ne passant surtout pas par le bâtiment principale mais en le contournant et en traversant le grand parking, franchement pas agréable ! Et enfin, la plage pourrait être très agréable mais nous ne sommes pas venue assez tôt pour pouvoir bénéficier de siège, du coup nous avons dû nous contenter de nous poser par terre (nous n’étions pas les seuls), ce n’est pas normal ! Bref on ne recommande pas

Beautiful grounds, layout, decor and private lakeside access for swimming. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and fresh. Rooms were clean and spacious. Spa facilities provided an option on rainy days and standard was very high.

There’s very little we didn’t like about the property. We would love an onsite gym but we chose the hotel knowing they didn’t have one.

Oof where do I start There is a woman that works on reception maybe 50 short hair glasses, who is always so passive aggressive I genuinely can’t understand why she is choosing to work in the hospitality industry, she should not be working with the guests, she had an issue with everything, including me asking for a invoice? I was told a check out that she’s in fact actually leaving in the next few days, but it’s just such a shame that the time she is still here she’s ruining it for guests. My other complaint is more of a safety aspect, I paid £2500 for 5 nights to stay in one of the apartments, room number three, it’s not a typical door It’s sliding glass windows. one night around 10 pm I had the curtains shut, it’s pitch black outside and all I can hear is somebody aggressively knock the window so aggressively that it jolted me,the only way I could see what was happening was by pulling the blinds and going really close to the window as no lights were on, and I could see a man trying to pull tell me to open my doors as well as SCREAMING at me in (unfortunately, I don’t speak any French) I genuinely thought that he was a random man that just came off the street and was trying to attack. I realised after some time that he was trying to get in to use the remote to pull back the sunshade as the weather has turned and it started to thunder and lightning. I have absolutely no idea why he thought it was appropriate to be so aggressive. I even said to him that I’m a female travelling alone and you have scared me and either didn’t understand me or couldn’t care less. I was on the phone to my friend at the time and she could hear how frightened I was and even considered calling the police because like I said I thought he was a random man. I did not know he worked to the hotel. I’ve never seen this man Before. Mind you I have a phone in my room.

Beautiful property and amazing lake access. We really enjoyed our room and big bathroom. The food was great and the drinks by the lake were affordable. You can't beat the views at this place and we had such an amazing time relaxing, eating, biking, walking, hiking and paragliding in this area.

The bed was surprisingly too firm for my liking- and I like firm beds. Staff was not the most eager to speak and interact in English... but thats most of France for you (in my experience)!
