Nice spacious rooms

The kitchen floor was sticky, there was Cobb webs on the sealing fans

Location was good and the actual house was surprisingly spacious

We were disappointed with our stay as the property was not provided as advertised. The listing stated that there were two televisions, however there were no TVs available at the property during our entire stay. As we were travelling with two young children, this was one of the main reasons we selected the accommodation, so it had a noticeable impact on our stay. We raised this with the host immediately after arrival. We were informed that a previous guest had damaged the TV and that they were waiting on payment before replacing it. Unfortunately this meant there was no solution offered during our stay and no alternative provided. Communication regarding the issue was frustrating. We spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve the matter directly with the host but did not receive a clear outcome regarding the previously mentioned 15% refund. The issue ultimately had to be escalated to Booking.com in order to receive any form of goodwill gesture. We also noticed a few other issues during our stay, including very limited and mismatched cups and cutlery, a broken tower fan, and an unpleasant smell in one cupboard that resembled animal urine. After our stay we also noticed a previous review mentioning the absence of televisions months earlier, which suggests this may not have been an isolated or unexpected issue. We feel it would be fairer for future guests if the listing accurately reflects the facilities currently available at the property. This issue was raised during our stay and later escalated to Booking.com after we were unable to reach a resolution directly with the host. Based on our experience, we would recommend that future guests confirm the current amenities with the host before booking.

What an absolutely lovely house to stay in. It was decorated really nicely. Perfect location for what we needed too, would definitely stay there again.

Son in law said the mattress on the double bed wasn't the best but he, my daughter & granddaughter had no complaints about anything else. There wasn't a television & we didn't know or they would have brought the tablet/laptop. I raised the issue of a crack in the living room window as I did a walk round check on arrival but don't know if the owner knew about it.

It was value for money, very nice and warm stay

The location of the place wasn't good, I.e the road and the area was very run down.

The house was clean and presentable

You couldn't use the washing machine
