Lovely Apt in City Centre Leeds

Perfect location, easy to check in, spoke to owner before we went and they were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful clean flat with everything you could possibly want

Plenty of tea and coffee and shampoo and conditioner to use. Good location, easy to walk around to town centre.

The building seemed to be council housing/housing association. I’m unsure if this apartment is council housing or if it is privately owned, but there were notices that suggested the building was (see photo). The bathtub/shower is hazardous to get in and out of. I’m not sure how it meets letting regulations. The mattress feels incredibly old and worn. It’s not comfy to sleep on but we managed ok for the two nights. All the blinds in the apartment are black out only. Meaning you cannot open the blinds to let in light unless you want to be seen by everyone walking by (it’s a ground floor apartment) The blinds also let in a lot of light at the sides, and the strong streetlights stream into the bedroom all night.

The property was clean and comfortable and owner was very helpful if you had a problem

Wasn’t keen on the Bath never seen a bath like it with having to climb stepladder to climb into the bath and heating was hit and miss when it chose to come on, could do with more plug sockets and a mirror in the bedroom

Location was great - a short walk from the station and really close to the riverside, with nice cafes and pubs nearby. The flat was relatively spacious and was clean. The host was very responsive as well.

The overall decoration feels a bit outdated, especially in the bedroom and bathroom. The quirky bath-tub/shower situation might be a problem for those with mobility issues.
