Hot tub enjoyed golf course

The kithen lacked chopping board mismatched cutlery & pottery Old Tooth brush left behind

It was comprehensive and cooked to ones liking.

The location was ideal, not too far from big supermarkets such as Morrisons and Tesco, and the two main towns (15 minutes drive). We had the pleasure of feeding the ducks and ducklings that came up to the lodge, and there were lots of bunnies bouncing about, aswell as so many other birds. The park was well kept and the golf course and driving range very good. It was peaceful there and the staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Gainsborough 3bed lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was lovely and well set out, with everything we needed (apart from a hairdryer). The hot tub was fabulous, very clean, a big size with all the extra bubble settings and lights. This was checked daily. The only thing that was a negative, was the lodge smelled abit and really needed a good clean inside and outside so maybe they need a word with the cleaner, but this did not spoil anything about our stay and we would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

The pro shop had nothing in it

Lovely quiet site with golf literally on the door step but down the road the hustle and bustle we also like with teenage kids 😊

Not a dislike but no baking trays so when cooking we had to use the grill

Everything was amazing, staff went above and beyond, the accomadation was spacious, clean and they have everything you could need. We had a breakdown and they sorted out an alternative way to check in. Accomadation wasnt on site but they made sure we could get the children into the entertainment at the ingoldmells coastfield. Having a washer and proper internet was an amazing touch and the fact that someone came out daily to check the hot tub was ok for use was awesome. Thankyou for all your help and for an amazing, relaxing holiday. We will see you again soon.

At first i wasnt sure about not having entertainment onsite but honestly i think this gave the accomadation a more relaxing charm and when i learned we could use alrlternative coastfield entertainment venues as long as they were given prior warning i was more than impressed.

It’s our second return and won’t be last for sure ! We love all the facilities ,the staff and lodges Spacious ,clean ,far from the busy town but close to all you beed
