Off Grid Travel at Cambo Estate

Clearly created with a strong intention to do better, off grid Travel have brought an extraordinary eye for detail to this delightful cabin. There are so many carefully thought out elements: an excellent shower, luxurious linen duvet covers, miraculous quick dry towels, Harris Tweed cushions, woollen blinds – I could go on and on.

That we had to leave.

Location and layout

Minor. But not a fan of the recycled material the towels were made of.

The cabin was lovely and cozy. The location was perfect, we didn't see one person. It really is getting away from it all. The cafe and gardens on site were lovely with good vegan options. The Teepee was a huge surprise with the firepit inside. Perfect! The beds and linen was fabulous.

There was nothing we didn't like. The towels take a bit of getting used to but that's the full off grid experience. Using the wagons to transport our bags back to the car was a bit tricky. The weight of the wagon pulls you down the hill and was a bit dangerous.

Le lieux est magnifique la vue la forêt la plage tout y est et tout est grandiose. Le logement permet d'admirer la nature et les levés de soleil. Le calme est partout.

Stunning location, we loved how cosy it was and all the small details in the eco pod. The trailer to get luggage to and from the car is genius. Everything was clean and tidy and the information sheet gives so much insight into how much has went into the property. There is no signal which we absolutely loved, there are games like jenga/cards etc and a conversation pit in the tepee with a fire pit.

We were not huge fans of the towels provided, we would just take our own next time but we appreciate they are made from recyclable materials!
